Payment Policy

1. Accepted Payment Methods & Transaction Currency

All purchases made through kerlith.com are processed in Euros (EUR). We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The payment methods available to you at checkout may vary depending on your country or region, device, browser, card issuer, and payment provider.

If your card, bank account, or digital wallet uses a currency other than EUR, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may convert the transaction into your local currency using its own exchange rate. Foreign transaction fees, currency conversion fees, or other charges imposed by your payment provider are outside the control of KERLITH, LLC.

2. Third-Party Payment Processing

Payments made through kerlith.com are securely processed through third-party payment service providers, primarily Stripe and PayPal. Depending on the payment method selected at checkout, Stripe may process eligible card payments and supported digital wallet transactions, while PayPal processes transactions completed through the PayPal payment service.

Payment authorization, verification, and processing are therefore subject to the applicable terms, security procedures, and approval requirements of Stripe, PayPal, your bank, card issuer, or digital wallet provider. KERLITH, LLC does not independently authorize or control decisions made by these third-party financial institutions.

3. Payment Information & Privacy

KERLITH, LLC does not store customers' complete credit or debit card numbers, CVV or CVC security codes, PayPal login credentials, Apple Pay credentials, Google Pay credentials, or other complete payment authentication information on our website or servers.

Sensitive payment information is submitted directly to the applicable third-party payment processor through its secure payment infrastructure. We may receive limited transaction information necessary to manage your order, such as payment status, transaction reference, payment method type, billing details, and other information required for order administration, accounting, refunds, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

4. Payment Security & Protection

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to help protect payment-related transactions and customer information. Our website uses HTTPS and SSL/TLS encryption to protect information transmitted between your browser and our website. Payment information processed by Stripe or PayPal is transmitted through their secure payment environments rather than being stored directly by KERLITH, LLC.

Depending on the payment method, card issuer, and transaction, additional security technologies may include payment tokenization, PCI DSS-compliant payment processing, 3D Secure authentication, fraud screening, risk monitoring, secure access controls, and automated transaction verification. These measures are designed to reduce unauthorized access and payment fraud, although no electronic payment system can guarantee absolute security.

5. Payment Authorization, Failed Payments & Disputes

An order is considered successfully paid only after the applicable payment provider confirms authorization or completion of the transaction. A payment may be declined, delayed, or rejected because of insufficient funds, incorrect billing information, card restrictions, fraud-prevention checks, authentication requirements, expired payment credentials, payment-provider limitations, or other issues determined by your bank or payment provider.

If a payment fails, please verify your payment details or contact your bank, card issuer, Stripe-supported payment provider, or PayPal as appropriate. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged more than once, or notice another payment issue relating to an order placed through kerlith.com, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can review the transaction. Formal payment disputes or chargebacks may also be handled according to the procedures of your bank, card issuer, Stripe, PayPal, or other applicable payment provider.

6. Refunds & Original Payment Method

When a refund is approved in accordance with our applicable Refund and Returns Policy, the refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We do not normally issue refunds to a different card, bank account, digital wallet, or payment method.

Approved refunds are normally processed by KERLITH, LLC within approximately 7 business days. After the refund has been submitted, additional time may be required for Stripe, PayPal, your bank, card issuer, or digital wallet provider to post the funds to your account. Actual posting times are determined by the applicable financial institution and may vary by payment method, country, and provider.
